Note: If you're laning vs. heroes with good magic damage a Bloodrage at low level can prevent you and your lane partner from getting killed. It's not always needed though, depends on what you're facing.

At start (when randomed):

At start (when picked):

This makes it really easy for you to lasthit and Blood Bath should be enough to heal you, but if you get too much damage the Healing Salve is good to have.
After 15-20 minutes:

And in 3-5 more:

After about 40-45 minutes your inventory should consist of:

Heart of Tarrasque is just to help you survive longer, if you feel that's not necessary you could go with:

And if you're really kicking ass:

If you're having trouble surviving you could get:

6. Strategy
Earlygame you stay on your lane and lasthit as much as possible and deny to get your hp up. If you take damage and get low you can use you're Healing Salve. If you're on toplane as Scourge or botlane as Sentinel creeppulling is a great way to get your hp to full again, however if you're enemies are coming to you it can backtrack, because then you might be attacked by neutral creeps and enemies.
At level 6 you should start getting hero kills. Rupture has a 70 second cooldown which is almost nothing. If you're toplane as Sentinel or botlane as Scourge going woods could be a great idea. Most games there is a wood hero and they're mostly easy kills. Killing on your lane won't be hard either, however it's rarely good to run in alone vs. 2, but with a lane mate it's easily a double kill if played right. If it's not going very well on another lane ganging that one will give you fast cash and the heroes on that lane the possibility to gain on the opponents.
If your team is doing great in midgame you should join them for gangs and pushing, however if it's even, farming can be great. That way you can carry the team later on. Try to get your hands on
as soon as possible. If you're team is still not winning or loosing towards the end, killing low hp heroes is a good idea to get fed. You could also just make sure you survive the gangs and team fights and then pick up the pieces, killing all that's still standing. If you're on low hp after a teamfight and a few enemies are running away with low hp, killing one of them should suffice for you to get enough hp to kill the others.
7. Last word
This is not the only way to play the hero, there are many things you can do differently, many people decide to skill Bloodrage earlier on i.e. That can be good from time to time too, so don't be afraid to try your own way and new ideas. This is just my favorite way of playing Strygwyr, and so far I havn't failed many times.
